Method :
1. Cream margarine, sugar and vanilla essence together, beat in eggs one at a time.
2. Add the mashed bananas and mix well, add flour, spices, baking powder and bicarbonate and use milk to mix to a soft sponge type texture.
3. Place in greased tins and bake at 180C / 350F / Gas mark 5 for 35-40 minutes.
